This is how it looked when I took it on, Nicely Carpeted and surrounded by nettles. the main problem is bindweed and lots of it… best get digging…

After taking on the allotment last month I have spent any spare time I have staring at the ground and digging out handfuls of weeds, the good points are that I have built a shed, planted some onion sets, garlic and some spring cabbage.

Thats a lot of manure, Its taken me the best part of 2 days to move it from the path to the plot
